Motor Trend Lauds RAM 1500 EcoDiesel's MPG, Unofficially

One thing we all crave in a truck is power. With the new RAM lineup, we get it, and in spades. But, what about efficiency? Well, that comes in to play too, and the RAM 1500 certainly is an able vehicle when it comes to stretching your MPG, especially the EcoDiesel edition. It's gotten a lot of praise, and though official fuel economy estimates aren't out yet, Motor Trend did some testing on its own, and the results are good.

Of course, when the EPA hands down its estimate, that's what everyone should follow - Bayird Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of Kennett can't make that clear enough. However, we all know fuel economy varies on driving habits, and Motor Trend put it through their criteria and found the RAM 1500 EcoDiesel attains 28 miles per gallon on the highway.

Impressive, wouldn't you say?

That is something that certainly can set it apart. What's more, the engine and build of the truck demonstrates that there is no sacrifice for power. That's because this V-6 engine has the pull of a V-8 in Motor Trend's eyes, and can tow up to 9,200 pounds.

Curious to learn more about this vehicle and how diesel options on pickup trucks could find us the right balance we desire in terms of power and efficiency? Stop in and see us here in our Kennett, MO showroom during regular business hours, today. We'd be happy to discuss each model with you in greater detail, and set up a test drive in the vehicle that grabs your attention.
