Performance
Features
Jeep will offer a Wagoneer as its mainstream
full-size SUV and the Grand Wagoneer as a formidable competitor among luxury
full-size SUVs. Both the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will include three rows of
seating. Short and long-wheelbase forms will be available on both versions. The
long-wheelbase will not add more seating. Instead, longer models will have
additional cargo space. The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will likely be
available with a 3.6-liter V6 or a 5.7-liter V8 engine. Jeep may also offer the
V6 in an eTorque hybrid version. In addition to being luxurious, the Wagoneer
will also offer unmatched towing capacity around Dexter, MO.
Stylish Design
The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will boast a
classier aesthetic compared to the Jeep models most people associate with
off-roading. The Grand Wagoneer will feature bold, luxurious styling with lots
of chrome while the Wagoneer will exchange its characteristic wood paneling for
a slightly more modern, upgraded aesthetic. Both will be built on a Ram 1500
frame with an independent rear suspension instead of a solid rear
axle.
